Islands of Silence

Each of the seven Islands is unique and is equipped with a bench or two for those who need a rest on the journey or just a quiet and relaxing place to pray and meditate … or to soak in the beauty of God’s creation that cradles the space.

The pathway runs through the natural terrain of the acres so that the visitor can enjoy a comfortable walk while being treated to the beauty of Mesquite, Palo Verde, and Crucifixion Thorn trees; Ocotillo cacti and Creosote bushes.  Curious Gambel’s Quail and rabbits will likely join you on your journey.

We are looking for donors who will give funds so we can place artwork in each Island to enhance the visitors’ experience.
